Panic for finals is setting in.
My Wellness and Alt Medicine final is worth 50% of my grade...! And I already know that my math exam'll be impossible. My FYS class has to preform cultural dances in front of actual dancers during our exam block.. Fucking a, kill me now.

there are some feelings that fill you up
that dig their roots into your skin
and never let go
they swell
and blow you over
like wind and waves

I see the days until stretched out before me like the miles that lay between us.

I hate this. It's so hard. I miss you.

it's really bursting at the seams...

i don't have my thorns now
Time grabs you by the hand and pulls you fast. Sometimes faster. And we don't notice at first because we're all still shocked at being alive.

but i thought she said maple leaves.

Please can the ache in my chest be soothed.

Please can I be full to the brim with rhythm and sense and truth and beauty;
overflowing.

Last night was a blast. Except for hiding in the woods, haha. Round two tonight.
Made lots of new friends and actually got to know some acquaintances.

A bunch of us went to Coffeehouse last night and there were two kids playing - Dan Harmon and Andrew Parker-Renga (<-- he beatboxed like mad!). They played a cover of "Delicate" and it was beautiful.

So why do you fill my sorrow
With the words you've borrowed
From the only place you've known
And why do you sing Hallelujah
If it means nothing to you
Why do you sing with me at all?

I wrote a letter.

Don't know if I'll regret it yet.

Sunlight pouring across your skin, your shadow
flat on the wall.
The dawn was breaking the bones of your heart like twigs.
You had not expected this,
the bedroom gone white, the astronomical light
pummeling you in a stream of fists.
You raised your hand to your face as if
to hide it, the pink fingers gone gold as the light
streamed straight to the bone,
as if you were the small room closed in glass
with every speck of dust illuminated.
The light is no mystery,
the mystery is that there is something to keep the light
from passing through.

sun sun sun here it comes
We were barely 18 when we'd crossed collective hearts.
It was cold but it got warm when you'd barely crossed my eye.
And then you turned, put out your hand,
and you asked me to dance.
I knew nothing of romance, but it was love at second sight.

My heart won't stay entirely in this rib caging.

What a beautiful face I have found in this place
That is circling all round the sun
What a beautiful dream that could flash on the screen
In a blink of an eye and be gone from me
Soft and sweet
Let me hold it close and keep it here with me

And one day we will die
And our ashes will fly from the aeroplane over the sea
But for now we are young
Let us lay in the sun
And count every beautiful thing we can see
Love to be
In the arms of all I'm keeping here with me

I'm up in the woods, I'm down on my mind
I'm building a sill to slow down the time

the taste of love is sweet...

I would like to be healthy, please and thank you.

When I cleaned out my closet, I found a lot of things I had forgotten about and things that I thought I'd lost. I was really happy to find a box full of my Calvin & Hobbes books from my yester-years. Man, I freaking love that scrappy six-year-old and his sardonic stuffed tiger. (sssss). I'm just gonna go ahead and say that C&H is the best comic strip ever.

I saw this on PostSecret last week...it made me really happy and a little sad.

Maude & Winifred sitting in a tree...

This.
I love Canadians.

Oh, p.s. the pictures get bigger when you click them, which was news to me.
